How we got here
(And You’re invited!)
When Miriam asked Grant for a dance it was love at first sight. We both knew this was the start of forever.
We are celebrating our wedding on a charming farm in the bride’s hometown, a place that instantly felt right
for us. We can’t wait to celebrate a relaxed, joyful, and love-filled day with all our friends and family.
Oh, and just so you know: as a German-Australian couple we are bringing a little international flair to the
party.

About the Wedding
We’re tying the knot in the beautiful protestant church, surrounded by family, friends, and a few happy tears.
The Ceremony
Afterwards we’ll head to a charming farm in the bride’s hometown. open fields, twinkling lights, and plenty of space to dance like nobody’s watching.
The Reception
Dress Code
We’d love for everyone to dress formally in joyful summery colors! Elegant suits, long dresses, and dancing shoes are highly encouraged. Dress fancy, dress bright...just leave white at home.

How to get there
By Car
The Church and farm are easily connected via the A2, A42 and A31.
Our wedding takes place in the beautiful countryside near Bottrop. While it’s wonderfully peaceful, public transport is very limited, so we recommend coming by car.
By Bus
Regional Busses from Essen, Gelsenkirchen and Oberhausen are running to stops nearby once per hour until 6 pm. Can I bring a +1
We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space we’re only able to invite the guests named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Is parking available?
Yes! There will be plenty of parking available at both the church and the reception venue.
What should I wear?
Think formal with a splash of summer. Elegant suits, long dresses, and joyful colours are very welcome. White, however, is lovingly reserved for the bride.
Is the reception indoors or outdoors?
The reception will take place indoors. There’s also a terrace for fresh air and conversations, though seating is indoors only.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive no later than 1:30 pm. Once the ceremony starts, doors close, dramatic music included, so give yourself plenty of time.
Can I take pictures?
Yes, absolutely! We’d love lots of photos and videos throughout the day. We’ll share a QR code so you can upload them directly. During the ceremony, we kindly ask that phones stay tucked away to keep the moment distraction-free and let our photographers do their thing.
Will transport be available?
We won’t be offering transportation to help us keep the wedding budget focused on more important things (like food and dancing).
What language will the wedding be held in?
The ceremony will be in German, with translations available.
